The Twilight Explorers began in 1970 when Luisa Go, an adventurous young girl growing up in the middle of Manila’s Chinatown, began writing letters to a bustling, cheeky boy named Anand – who was a world away in Ahmedabad, India. Drawn together by curiosity, they found a shared spirit of possibility, adventure, and then, love.

Their spirit of adventure still thrives after 2 kids, 4 grandkids and over 50 years together. Anand and Luisa now spend their twilight years exploring the world together – on the road more than 8 months of the year exploring new places and new cultures. They continue to deepen the adventure that they embarked on from that very first love letter they wrote to each other back in 1970.
